Transit / Parking
The BTN Big 10K and 5K will start and finish in Grant Park. The finish and post-race party will take place on Columbus Avenue between Congress Parkway and Roosevelt Road.
Help us reduce our carbon footprint! We encourage you to walk, bike or take public transportation to the race site. If you drive, allow sufficient time for traffic congestion and street closures due to the race. In order to ensure that you have a relaxed and enjoyable experience race morning, please plan to arrive at the race site no later than 5:45am.
Participants are highly encouraged to ride their bicycles to the event. Bicycle parking is available by the Alumni and Info Tents in the Post-Race Tailgate, and at the McDonald’s Cycle Center, located at 239 East Randolph Street.
Please check out the Regional Transportation Authority for information on transportation from your start location to the start line.
Public transportation is highly recommended to Grant Park. If you drive, allow sufficient time for traffic congestion and street closures due to the race. We want your time at the BTN Big 10K & 5K to be about enjoying the event, not trying to find parking!
With more than 9,200 spaces, Millennium Garages offer the closest and most convenient parking on race day. The garages can be accessed as follows:
Millennium Park Garage and Millennium Lakeside Garage can be accessed via eastbound Lower Randolph Street to southbound Columbus Drive.
Grant Park North and Grant Park South Garages can be accessed via southbound Michigan Avenue at Randolph Street and Jackson Drive. They can also be accessed via northbound Michigan Avenue at Van Buren and Madison until 6:45am.
